What Code it! offers
Online courses
The online courses of Code it! teach the basic concepts of programming in a playful way. The children complete the courses independently and at their individual learning pace. The courses are guided by short videos, in each of which a programming concept is presented and illustrated in the context of examples. After the explanatory videos, small tasks have to be solved in which the concepts are applied. Error analysis hints guide the children to solving the tasks.

In the Code it! programming environments, the learned knowledge can be applied. Games, animations and other applications can be created.
Ready to use teaching material
Code it! provides ready-to-use teaching materials that make teaching easy, motivating and save you preparation time. The materials contain detailed lesson descriptions and didactic and pedagogical tips. The first teaching materials for programming for children can be found here und here.
Simple course management
With the teacher accounts of Code it! you can create, manage and organize classes. You can create student accounts for entire classes, including automatically generated user names and passwords. You have an overview of the students’ learning progress in the courses and their projects. You can assign tasks and projects to your classes and view their solutions.
Start immediately
To use Code it! in the classroom, you do not need any additional materials or hardware. The learning environment is web-based and the courses and projects run in the browser. All you need is a computer (laptop or tablet) and an Internet connection. There’s no need to download or install anything.
